Parent's Corner:

Running Shoes:
The proper running shoes will help prevent injuries. An athlete should get a new pair of running shoes every season. A running shoe is only good for 200-250 miles! Never put running shoes in the washer or dryer it will ruin the support in them. Marathon Sports does a great job at fitting athletes into the correct shoes based on their feet.

Injuries:
Please ensure that your child reports any injuries to a coach right away – even if they think it’s a minor injury. The coaching staff has many years of experience when it comes to injuries. We can adjust training plans or have them see the school’s athletic trainer for advice. This will allow them to train while recovering.

Getting Involved:

There are several opportunities throughout the season for parents to get involved!

* Volunteer to assist in fundraising events

* Organize a pasta dinner for the team

* Attend the Blue Pride Palooza (10/26/19)

* Volunteer with Boosters at a concession stand

* Attend informational meeting at the start of the season

​

Working together as a Team:

We need your support!  Attendance is vital to our athletes progression in the sport.  Athletes are expected to attend every practice and meet. Head coaches must be informed of any missed practices or meets.
